4 Books That Could Change Your Life

These books that *will* change how you see things. Each one of these were honestly life changing for me in different areas and different times of my life. These books stand out for me as so impactful because they created a pivotal moment in my mindset and I wanted to share them with you so that you can be inspired to change the areas of your life you wish to change so that you can unfold into the person you were meant to become.

  1. The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron - for seeing yourself as a natural creator with practical exercises for artists and people who may not even think they are artists. This book helped me shift my view of myself as an artist. Believe it or not if you asked me 20 years ago if I was an artist, photographer or generally a creative person I would’ve laughed in your face. This book was recommended to me in a graduate course as supplemental reading over 10 years ago and it inspired profound change within my life - even if I didn’t become a professional artist this inspired change that make life in general more fulfilling. 2. Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes - Hands down, one of my all time favorites. For all women, especially mothers and especially artists. I reread this often and get something new each time. Definitely read it at least once all the way through but then you can also pick and choose chapters to go back to.  If you are struggling with your identity as a woman, mom guilt, built over setting boundaries or wish to better understand the true nature of feminine energy this book is for you. 3. Three Simple Steps by Trevor Blake- for learning about mindset and manifestation along with a really great story. It’s the woo without the woo. This book is narrated by a former Navy officer and successful business man and reveals easy methods to start producing a life and reality that you actually desire. I literally manifested our house after reading this book. Get your copy here

  4. The Law of Divine Compensation: On Work, Money and Miracles by Marianne Williamson- I would recommend this to anyone but especially to anyone who owns their own business but especially to my creative entrepreneurs and freelance artists. I would also especially recommend this book for anyone who enjoys blending new age thought with traditional Christianity because it explains many universal laws using biblical references as some of its support. Get your copy here
